Note: A single file exceeding 1GB will not be uploaded to Samsung Cloud, make sure that you have signed in to your Samsung account on your phone.

Step 1: Connect the new Samsung phone with the old phone via a USB cable.
 
Note: Most cables will require you to use a USB-OTG adapter. If you have a Lightning to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C cable, you don't need an adapter, it will plug directly into the new Galaxy.
 
Step 2: Run Smart Switch on both of your new and old phones.

Step 4: Select the data to be transferred to the new phone. The estimated value of the transmission time will be displayed. If the transfer will take more than an hour, you may want to use wireless transfer so that you can charge both phones during the transfer.
 
Step 5: When you are ready to start, click "Transfer".
 
Step 6: After finishing, click "Done" on the new phone, and then click "Close" on the old phone.
